These photos highlight some of the incredible work taking place with Indigenous communities in the Brazilian Amazon.
Together with the Raoni Institute, we’re supporting the Mẽbêngôkre (Kayapó), Yudja, Tapayuna, and Trumai peoples by strengthening sustainable livelihoods through the production of forest products like cumaru, copaiba oil, honey, and pepper, while also celebrating and promoting traditional Indigenous arts and crafts.
This work is about more than generating income. It helps strengthen food security, preserve traditional knowledge, and protect the forests Indigenous communities have cared for for generations. By supporting Indigenous-led solutions, we’re investing in the people whose leadership is essential to the future of the Amazon.p
